I think it's pretty cool that finally Rob got to see that obsessive fans are just a very small part of this fandom and that there's also people you can actually talk to and not being afraid of.
he sais something very similar to what peter said a few days ago in an interview, about making fans happy just with a few minutes of their time. Maybe he should hang out more often with him :D
Pattinson appeared on 'Good Day LA' where he told an anecdote about fans he saw waiting every day while he was filming 'Eclipse.'

Pattinson used to pass these women every day, but ignored them. One day while riding with cast-mate Jackson Rathbone, they both stopped and talked to the fans.

Robert Pattinson claims he immediately learned that the fans aren't crazy at all. They're just crazy about the Twilight series of novels and films and just can't get enough of them.

"I started talking to them," he said. "It's so strange when you think you get cut off from everyone and you realize these people are only here because they love the books and the films."

Rob Pattinson, aka RPattz, is philosophical about the gap between the fans and the cast.

"I just wake up at 5:00 in the morning and leave work at 9:00," he said. "People just wait there. Nothing could please them more than just two minutes talking to you."

Ryan McPartlin doesn't think he could live in Chicago full-time. "I'd be 350 pounds easily," the Glen Ellyn native told me Monday.

That extra weight wouldn't be good for the actor, whose buff Captain Awesome will be going shirtless again during the upcoming third season of NBC's "Chuck."

"Unfortunately, but that's not my choice," he said, laughing. "I went home to Chicago and spent a lot of time at Giordano's [for pizza] and Portillo's [for hot dogs]. I went up to Wisconsin to some apple orchards, got some ice cream and donuts.

"And of course, right away they're like, 'Your shirt's coming off.' It took my about three weeks to get back into 'Awesome' shape."

Ugly Betty May Steal Eastwick Slot from Lost
Today 6:15 AM PST by Kristin Dos Santos

Not even Jerry O'Connell's bare backside could save it.

Despite JOC telling us that he was just shooting some "sexy scenes" last night on the set of Eastwick, the news has broken that his wife Rebecca Romijn's series is a goner. ABC has confirmed that no new episodes will be produced beyond the original 13-episode commitment.

So this means Lost is a shoo-in to come back to Wednesday nights, right?

Maybe not.

ABC insiders tell me that another series might be headed for that cushy slot, and this girl happens to rock a mean Guadalajara poncho...

According to sources, ABC higher-ups are considering moving Ugly Betty to Wednesdays at 10 in January as part of a flashy relaunch of the show in an effort to save it. The thinking is that Betty would complement new hits Modern Family and Cougar Town nicely, and make ABC a solid destination for comedy on Wednesday night.

Nothing has been decided, but I'm told this is one option on the table.

"Honest to God, they haven't given us a date yet," Lost boss Damon Lindelof recently told USA Today. "I don't even know what night it's going to be on. We've been on Wednesday at 9 for awhile, but now ABC's comedies are actually working. And I actually like Modern Family and Cougar Town, so I'm not sure that they'll move them."

No word yet on where Lost will go if Betty gets Eastwick's Wednesday slot.

According to insiders, Betty also has a creative resurgence in the works, including an episode in the spirit of Run Lola Run in which Betty must race across town to deliver a diamond-encrusted bra which sounds pretty exciting. ABC execs asked producers to move the episode up to an earlier date because they liked it so much, according to my mole.

What do you think of Betty taking the Wednesday slot? Where should Lost go? And is it time to stick a fork in Betty or are you hoping for more?
